Ministry of Nurture and Fellowship
Nurture-At Grace we work together to take care of one another.
Our members are in Care and Nurture groups. These CAN groups have leaders who reach out to families when needs arise. The Grace CAN Groups are posted on the church bulletin board. Your group leader will call on you to help, when there is a need. It is a blessing that we can support one another.
Our Prayer Chains are active, both email and phone. Call or email, the church office, if you have a prayer need, or if you want to join a Prayer Chain.
Every Sunday, there are snacks available in the TEC (Taylor Education Center) 30 minutes prior to worship.
Other regularly scheduled gatherings are: Lunch Bunch is held on the third Monday of each month in the TEC at 11:30. Come and bring a dish to share. Drinks are provided and good humor abounds. There are no age requirements. We are undeniably intergenerational!
Adult Nite Out happens almost every month. Dates, times and activities vary. We have played many games, visited plays, bowled and putted, but we almost always eat. Monthly specifics can be found in the Graceline. There is usually a sign up on the bulletin board, as well.
OKAY(OurKidsAreYours) is our newest group. Some of our younger families find they are short on time to fellowship without the “help” of their young children. Our young adults are attempting to plan monthly outings while the young ones play with the next generation. So far, the generation swap, with some help from our teens, has worked well. Check with Shannon Crippen for specifics on activities and dates.
